General Conference Tracks 

We are pleased to invite authors to submit their research to the diverse tracks offered at our conference. These tracks span a wide range of disciplines, including Accounting, Finance, Economics, Education, Management, Marketing, Tourism, and Information Technology


Accounting

Accounting is an essential component in the modern corporate governance arena, which provides valuable information, both financial and non-financial, for successful decision-making purposes of companies’ governance structures. The Accounting track invites submissions on all key areas of the field, including financial reporting, managerial accounting, auditing, tax accounting, and sustainability reporting. It explores emerging trends like digital transformation, as well as specialized topics such as forensic accounting, government practices, and industry-specific applications.


Economics

Economies around the globe nowadays face a growing array of technological, social, political, demographic, and environmental challenges that offer both opportunities and threats to their societies’ prosperity. The track focuses on understanding and analyzing economic systems, behaviors, and policies. Key topics include microeconomics (consumer behavior, market structures, and pricing), macroeconomics (economic growth, monetary and fiscal policies, and trade), and behavioral economics (psychology in decision-making). Other areas include development economics (poverty, inequality, and sustainability), environmental economics (resource management and climate policies), and globalization (trade and global market impacts).


Education

The Education track invites submissions on innovations, policies, and practices that enhance teaching and learning in business and economics education. Topics include educational technology, exploring AI, e-learning platforms, and gamification; curriculum design, focusing on inclusive and adaptive approaches; teacher training and professional development, emphasizing skill-building and lifelong learning; education policy; and assessment and evaluation, leveraging data and analytics for improving outcomes in business and economics education. Submissions presenting research, case studies, or innovative frameworks to advance education in business and economics are highly encouraged.


Finance

Finance is an integral part of economics and central to all business considerations. Therefore, the exploration of financial issues is at the core of the aim and scope of the Odyssey conference. Key topics include corporate finance, public finance, financial markets, risk management, investment analysis, banking and financial services, behavioral finance, international finance, and sustainable finance. It emphasizes tools and strategies driving business, market, and investment decisions.


IT

Digital technologies and digital transformation had an unprecedented influence on all sectors of business and society over the last decades. This track invites submissions on how technology drives growth, shapes policies, and revolutionizes practices. Topics include digital economies (e-commerce, digital currencies), data-driven decision-making (AI, big data), automation and productivity, fintech innovations, IT in globalization, sustainability, and business process optimization. Both theoretical and applied research are welcome.


 



Management


Management is crucial for the success of any organization and its aspects are constantly researched by academics all over the world. Businesses need to carefully chose their strategies, allocate resources, and create productive working environments. The Management track invites submissions on strategic management, leadership, organizational behavior, operations management, human resource management, technology in management, sustainability and ethics, crisis and risk management, project and program management, interdisciplinary collaboration, innovation and change, and global and cross-cultural management

 



Marketing


The Marketing track invites submissions on a wide range of topics related to understanding and influencing markets and consumers. Key areas include consumer behavior, exploring decision-making processes and cultural influences; advertising strategies, focusing on digital marketing, branding, and storytelling; market research, leveraging analytics and AI for insights and segmentation; and branding, examining brand loyalty, positioning, and equity. 



 



Tourism


The Tourism track invites submissions exploring key aspects of tourism and its impact on economies, cultures, and the environment. Topics include tourism management, focusing on destination planning, hospitality, and service innovation; sustainable tourism, addressing eco-friendly practices, community-based tourism, and minimizing environmental impacts; and economic and cultural impacts, examining tourism’s contribution to local economies, cultural preservation, and global exchange.
