Ph.D. Workshop

All Ph.D. candidates in early or more advanced stages of their research and other researchers working on various topics in economics and business are welcome to apply.

Main objective of the Pre-Conference Ph.D. Workshop is to gather Ph.D. students and researchers to discuss various topics in economics and business, to provide an interactive platform to present their research work, discuss dissertation issues with peers and with distinguished professors and researchers as well as to network with other attendees and experts in the field of their work.

Invited distinguished professors and internationally recognized authorities in economics and business will be engaged in this pre-conference event, helping Ph.D. candidates to broaden their views and improve their work.

Application process

For attendees who regularly register for the 14th International Odyssey Conference on Economics and Business there will be no fee for the Pre-Conference Ph.D. Workshop.

For the participants who will attend Pre-Conference Ph.D. Workshop only, there will be 60 EUR fee. This registration fee includes all pre-conference and conference activities (admission to lectures, session work, discussion workshops and coffee breaks on June 1 st), excluding conference gala dinner.

Submission process

Ph.D. candidates submit research proposal (up to 10 pages, TNR, single spaced) to odyssey@net.efzg.hr no later than - TBD

Proposal should indicate research progress - early or more advanced stage.

The written proposal should include the following elements: (1) working title,  (2) research topic, (3) specific research question, (4) hypotheses (if developed), (5) research objectives, (6) research methods used and, if applicable, expected research results.
